IN THE BACKGROUND
Madame Blueberry

Click the video cover to read more about it!

  • The story of "Madame Blueberry" starts as the camera moves upward through the trees. Watch the lower right corner of your screen for a quick glimpse of a racoon, which Larry wears on top of his head at the start of "Love Songs With Mr. Lunt!"

  • Annie's parents make their debut - and they bear a curious resemblance to VeggieTales creator Phil Vischer and his wife Lisa! Lisa performs the voice of Junior Asparagus; their daughter Shelby performs the voice of Annie.

  • The Stuff-Mart is full of all sorts of toys and goodies. One featured item that can be seen all over the place in the background is Buzz-Saw Louie, the hero toy from "The Toy That Saved Christmas!"

  • Madame's hair color changes from brown to blonde and then back again throughout the last half of the video. It is unlikely that this is just an accident on the part of the show's producers, since her hair also changes styles. Most likely, Madame bought a wig or had her hair done at the Stuff-Mart - for this is where it changes. When she realizes that she doesn't need all that stuff to be happy, she gets rid of her sunglasses, the flowers on her hat, and her new hairdo.

There is one point where an error may have been made by the producers: when Madame first arrives at the Stuff-Mart and takes off shopping, her hair is briefly blonde. The next shot of her finds her cruising down the aisles with brown hair. Finally, when she takes a break at the snack bar, she is blonde.

  • Madame Blueberry, Bob and Larry take a break from their shopping to grab a bite at the Stuff Mart snack bar. The music that is playing overhead is Mr. Lunt's love song, "His Cheeseburger!"

  • While they are sitting at the snack bar, also watch for the poster on the wall behind Bob. It's the Fib ("Larry-Boy & the Fib from Outer Space!") versus Goliath ("Dave and the Giant Pickle")!

  • Bob and Madame ride their shopping cards quickly down the hill, trying to stop the deliveries before Madame's house collapses. Needing to go faster, Bob looks for a turbo boost - but the button dispenses pizza coupons! The lion pizza picture is from "Dave and the Giant Pickle", and is also a reference to "Daniel and the Lion's Den" (from the video "Where's God When I'm S-Scared?").
