This shot of Jimmy's ice cream parlor - at night in the rain - is a spoof on "Nighthawks," a famous 1942 painting by Edward Hopper. The painting includes four people: the worker, a solitary man, and a couple (represented in VeggieTales by Jimmy, Larry, and Archibald and Lovey. In fact, the woman has red hair (modeled after the artist's wife, Jo Hopper) - just like Lovey Asparagus. Check out the bathroom doors in the background at Jimmy's ice cream parlor. The men's bathroom door has the outline of a cucumber on it. The women's has the outline of a cucumber in a dress! Archibald's petitions in support of Silly Songs were actual petitions signed by Silly Songs fans and sent to Big Idea Productions - they were scanned into the computer and added to the animation! The petition which Archibald read was sent in by WNCB radio in Duluth, Minnesota, and really was signed by a girl in Moose Lake (about 40 miles from Duluth)! According to Jake Ryan of WNCB, "We're taking good care of her with some VeggieStuff."
