    George is the older, wiser veggie. He acts primarily as a storyteller, though he is also involved as a character in the stories he tells. In his youth, George was the mailman of Dinkletown; in his later years, he became the gate keeper at Mr. Nezzer's chocolate factory. George has a granddaughter, Annie.

    George debuts as the storyteller and factory gate keeper in "Rack, Shack & Benny." George tells how three boys stood up for what they knew was right.


    The Toy That Saved Christmas

    George is again the storyteller in "The Toy That Saved Christmas," telling his granddaughter about his days as a mailman in Dinkletown. George teaches Bob, Larry, Junior and Buzz-Saw Louie the true meaning of Christmas.
