'Lyle the Kindly Viking' now available
Fifteenth VeggieTales video is one of the best ever!

CHICAGO - It's official! The newest video in the smash-hit VeggieTales series is "Lyle the
Kindly Viking," and it's now in stores everywhere.
Junior Asparagus stars in this toe-tappin' musical as Lyle, a young viking with a problem.
See, all of his viking friends take the boat out every day and go pillaging and plundering
(that's basically stealing). Lyle doesn't think it's right. What should he do?
"Lyle the Kindly Viking" teaches kids (and grown-ups!) an important lesson in sharing. The
show also stars Bob the Tomato, Larry the Cucumber, Jimmy and Jerry Gourd, Mr. Nezzer, Mr.
Lunt and a whole lot more of your favorite Veggies.
The show also marks the first episode of VeggieTales released to the Christian market and
the general market at the same time. What's more, it's the very first episode available in
either VHS or DVD format! DVD bonus features include a split-screen story reel, interviews
with writer/creator Phil Vischer and director Tim Hodge, a widescreen version of the new
Silly Song, and the teaser trailer for "Jonah - A VeggieTales Movie."
Also included in the show is "Omelet," the Shakespearean tale of a king who has a taste for
eggs. But what is he to do when the kingdom runs out of eggs?!?
And don't forget Silly Songs with Larry! Larry's latest work is another tongue-twister
you'll love to try and sing along with.
"Lyle the Kindly Viking" is a classic VeggieTales episode, and one of the funniest ever.
