CHICAGO - What is next for the world's greatest (and greenest) superhero? Larry-Boy is set to take on the problem of gossip in his second full-length video, "Larry-Boy and the Rumor Weed!" The 30-minute video is set for a July, 1999 release.

The men and women of Chicago-based animation studio Big Idea Productions are hard at work on the video, the twelfth in the VeggieTales series. Once planned for a November, 1998, release, the studio decided that more time on the story would allow it to meet its high production standards.

Junior Asparagus and Laura the Carrot will return in the second Larry-Boy episode, along with Mr. Nezzer, Alfred (played by Archibald Asparagus) and other veggie favorites. The action-packed episode will also include new characters, including Larry the Cucumber's nephew.

The technologically advanced Larry-mobile - lost and presumed destroyed in "Larry-Boy! & the Fib from Outer Space!" - has been completely rebuilt and redesigned for the cucumber superhero's second video. The plunger-headed hero may one day even get his own spin-off series as Big Idea continues to grow.
