CHICAGO - Only weeks left until Larry-Boy's second feature video, "Larry-Boy and the Rumor Weed!" The cucumber superhero will make his big return to Christian bookstores everywhere on July 24.

What happens when Junior Asparagus and Laura Carrot start a rumor about Larry's butler Alfred? It just grows and grows! Larry-Boy must face the Weed, as she grows so big that she threatens all of Bumblyburg! How can she be stopped?

Some Bumblyburg favorites reprise their roles from "Larry-Boy! & the Fib from Outer Space!": Percy and Li'l Pea, Officer Scooter, Alfred, Junior Asparagus and Laura Carrot. And, there are some new faces to Bumblyburg: Mr. Nezzer and Dad Carrot, plus Mayor Blueberry and others! Also watch for something that's been missing from VeggieTales for quite a while: new veggies! Big Idea introduces Dr. Glocken the onion, Pepe the bell pepper, Chilli the chili pepper and others - all as extras in the background.

Larry the Cucumber's nephew - Barth - does appear briefly in the background, along with some other new faces: Gordy the gourd and Renee Blueberry, a foreign exchange student from France.

The technologically advanced Larry-mobile, lost and presumed destroyed in Larry-Boy's last adventure, has been completely rebuilt and redesigned for "Larry-Boy and the Rumor Weed." The plunger-headed hero may one day even get his own spin-off series as Big Idea continues to grow - a fact that is hinted at by the absence of counter-top scenes with Bob the Tomato and Qwerty the computer on the new video.
